Workshops

In addition to his work as a psychiatrist, Dr Christopher Walsh has spent many years developing and teaching workshops that integrate mindfulness, psychology, systems thinking and experiential learning.

These workshops are offered through Mindful Representations, an approach that has evolved from more than three decades of clinical practice, teaching and ongoing exploration. Rather than focusing solely on theoretical knowledge, the workshops combine direct experience with careful observation, reflection and discussion to help participants develop deeper understanding and practical skills.

Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds. Some attend for personal growth and self-understanding, while others are psychologists, psychiatrists, GPs, counsellors, social workers, coaches, educators and other helping professionals seeking to enrich their professional practice.

The workshops are designed to support the development of qualities such as mindful awareness, reflective practice, emotional discernment, systems thinking and the ability to work thoughtfully with complexity. As participants deepen their understanding, those with a professional interest may choose to continue into more advanced workshops and structured professional development opportunities.

Whether attending a single introductory workshop or pursuing a longer learning pathway, the emphasis remains the same: developing greater awareness, curiosity, compassion and practical wisdom that can be applied in everyday life and professional practice.

Further information about upcoming workshops, learning pathways, professional development opportunities and online bookings is available through the Mindful Representations website.
